Contact
Reach the Sidhe Wolf editorial desk at [email protected] for pitches, corrections and notes from within a tradition. Not a psychic or reading service.
We are glad you want to get in touch. Sidhe Wolf is reachable by email at [email protected], and that single address reaches the editorial desk for everything below. We read what comes in and reply as we can; a small publication that keeps its stories properly also tries to answer its post properly, though it may take us a little time.
Pitches from writers
If you would like to write for us, please read our contributor guidelines first — they explain the sourcing bar and what we publish — and then send your pitch to [email protected]. Tell us the tradition, the angle, your main sources, and roughly how long the piece would be. A short, well-sourced paragraph tells us more than a long one.
Corrections
Corrections are welcome and taken seriously; they are part of how we keep the record honest, as set out in our editorial standards. If you have found an error — a misattributed story, a wrong date, a misspelling, a boundary we should not have crossed — email [email protected] with the page URL and, where you can, a source we can check. A correction backed by a citation will always get our attention, and substantive fixes are noted on the article.
Notes from within a tradition
If you belong to one of the cultures we write about and something we published is wrong, disrespectful, or should have stayed closed, we especially want to hear from you. Please see our cultural respect policy for how we handle this, and write to the same address. Feedback from inside a tradition carries particular weight with us.
Say It Right suggestions
If there is a name or word you keep hearing mangled and would like added to our Say It Right series, send it along — ideally with the language it comes from. Requests from speakers of these languages are especially welcome.
Commercial enquiries
Please note before writing: we do not accept paid guest posts, sponsored content, or link insertions, and we do not sell placement of any kind. Our reasons are set out in our contributor guidelines and affiliate disclosure. Genuine enquiries about commissioning artwork, licensing, or legitimate partnerships are welcome at [email protected]; link-building and placement offers will not receive a reply.
What to include, and when to expect a reply
You do not need to observe any formality with us, but a few details help us help you. For a correction, the page URL and a source are the two most useful things; for a pitch, the tradition and your main sources; for a Say It Right request, the word and its language. A single clear paragraph nearly always beats a long, apologetic one — we would rather read the substance than the throat-clearing.
We are a small operation, so replies are not instant. We aim to acknowledge genuine correspondence within a week or two, and corrections that come with a citation tend to move fastest, because there is little for us to do but check the source and fix the record. If your message is time-sensitive, say so at the top and we will do our best. If you do not hear back on a pitch after a few weeks, you are welcome to send it elsewhere with our blessing; a silence from us is never a claim on your work.
A note on what we are not
Sidhe Wolf is a folklore, art, and culture publication, not a religious, psychic, or advisory service. We cannot offer readings, spells, personal spiritual guidance, or supernatural help, and we do not pass such requests on to anyone who claims to. If that is what you are looking for, this is, kindly, not the right door — but if you love the old stories and want to talk about them, keep them, or help us keep them properly, we would genuinely love to hear from you.
